A hopeful sign of things to come
March 1, 2008
My new favorite salad:
Ready Pac Lafayette (my favorite bagged lettuce)
grape tomatoes
Mini Babybel, cut up in about a dozen pieces
dried, sweetened cranberries
Sunkist Almond Accents, Butter Toffee Glazed
Newman’s Own Lighten Up Honey Mustard Dressing
I made this salad up in my head in the store today, wanting something new. I’ve eaten it three times since then. Yum times infinity.

YUMMMMMM!
I just read your last post. I’m with you. I’m afraid to post because I have NOTHING good to say, except that I’m still at 168. Other than that…very bad thoughts.
I’m here for you girl! You’re not alone. And damn it, you’ve come a long way and made up an awesome sounding salad!

Wow, that sounds straight up delicious! I adore dried cranberries on salad! I haven’t seen the salad mix you described here in my town but tomorrow I’ll put cranberries on my salad and raise a fork to you, friend!
Sorry to hear about the rough patch but glad to see you’re still blogging. That says a lot about you and your commitment!

Trying to increase my intake of salads and green leafy veggies and not having too much success. Purchased bananas yesterday for banana nut muffins and dried pineapple for what i don’t know yet…lol

Some Ready Pac salads are manufactured here in Indiana. We’re cosmically connected.
