On a lighter note (literally).

I recently, finally, found Flat Out Bread at a Super Target in Moreno Valley, CA.
Flat Out Bread is apparently endorsed by Bob Greene, the Oprah diet guy, for his diet The Best Life since his logo is all over it. The site lists more high-end grocery retailers, which explains why I had to travel over 30 minutes to find them, so I bought two packages, fearing I’d never find them again. I’ve eaten them as cold sandwich wraps, and toasted in the oven like big crackers. My next venture might be try them toasted with cinnamon and Splenda as a sweet treat.
But my best Super Target find? Archer Farms Natural Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter. Alone it tastes odd (so luckily I’m not eating it by the spoonful) but it’s my new favorite thing to dip strawberries, pears, and apples in as a snack.
I found this particular location also carries Better’n Peanut Butter, alternative peanut butter I used to exclusively find at Trader Joe’s and used to be more in love with than I am now, and PB Loco, gourmet peanut butter currently on my to-buy radar (probably in Jungle Banana–bananas IN my peanut butter already? Shut up right!?)
I love food.
But in the spirit of balance, and honestly, I should say on my Do Not Buy list are Hershey’s 100 Calorie Bars–in any flavor. You will eat the whole box. (Or, um, so I hear.)

I have the same problem with the Cadbury’s 100 Calorie bars. The dark chocolate ones are fantastic, but I just CAN’T bring home a box of 6. That’s just asking for trouble.
